Learning objectives

 

- To know the pathophysiology of diseases, identifying the manifestations that appear throughout their process.

- Assess the functional state of the patient, considering the physical, psychological and social aspects

- To know, in general, the medical and surgical treatments of the diseases, fundamentally in their physiotherapy aspects.

- Know the surgical material

- To intervene in the acts of promotion, prevention and recovery of the health.

Competences

Specific competences of the Degree:

CE1 To know and understand the morphology, physiology, pathology and behavior of persons, healthy and ill, in the natural and social environment.

CE2 Know and understand the sciences, models, techniques and instruments on which the physiotherapy is founded, articulated and developed.

CE3 Understand physiotherapeutic methods, procedures and actions,

CE5 Assess the functional state of the patient, considering the physical, psychological and social aspects.

CE12 Act in the promotion, prevention, protection and recovery of health.

CE14 To carry out physiotherapeutic interventions

CE15 Understand the importance of updating the knowledge, abilities, skills and attitudes that integrate the professional competencies of the physiotherapist.

 

General skills of the Degree:

CG1 Communicate effectively and clearly, both orally and in writing, with the users of the healthcare system as well as with other professionals

CG2 Know how to work in professional teams

 

Transversal competences of the Degree:

CT1 Correction in the written and oral expression.

Methodology

 

The teaching methodology is aimed at the development of the student's learning through classes with the active participation of students, seminars, clinical cases and directed activities are also planned.

The classes will be supported withprojections of iconography and computer presentations.

Attendance at lectures is strongly recommended.

The non-attendance activity is managed through the Virtual Campus (CV) of the UdL.

There are different groups, with teaching at Lleida or Igualada.

- Lleida, class days are Monday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Classes are held at the Unitat Docent of the Hospital Universtari Arnau de Vilanova.

- Igualada, classes are Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Evaluation

 

- Continuous assessment (seminars, activities, tests): 25%

- Evaluation test (exam): 75%
