Esta asigntura pretende por un lado, estudiar los diferentes conceptos físicos de interés en ciencias de la salud relacionándolas con los diferentes agentes físicos utilizados en el mundo de la fisioterapia. Por otro lado estudia el comportamiento biomecánicodel cuerpo humano, así como la metodología más empleada para su valoración.
Recomendación del profesor: Se recomienda tener conocimientos previos de Física y haber superado las asignaturas de Estructura del Cuerpo Humano 1 y Función del Cuerpo Humano 1.
1.1. Que conozca los fundamentos mecánicos básicos y su aplicación al análisis del movimiento del cuerpo humano y a los instrumentos que este utiliza.
1.2. Que conozca los fundamentos mecánicos básicos de los tratamientos fisioterapéuticos.
1.3. Que conozca el comportamiento mecánico del sistema músculo-esquelético.
1.4. Que conozca como se comportan las estructuras que forman el aparato locomotor cuando se ven sometidos a diferentes tipos de cargas.
1.5. Que conozca las características biomecánicas de las diferentes articulaciones del cuerpo humano.
1.6. Que conozca las aplicaciones del análisis del movimiento.
2. Que el/la alumno/a conozca los elementos clave que componen los conocimientos de física que le permitan profundizar en el estudio de los fenómenos de interés fisiológico y biomecánico.
2.1. Que conozca los principios y teorías de los agentes físicos y sus aplicaciones en fisioterapia.
2.2. Que conozca las bases físicas e instrumentales del diagnostico y de la terapéutica.

2.7 Identificar, describir y conocer las teorías y principios generales del funcionamiento, de la discapacidad, de la salud y de la valoración.

Para aprobar esta asignatura se ha de obtener un 5 de nota global. Para poder hacer la media ponderada de las notas obtenidas en los diferentes bloques que imparte cada profesor es imprescindible que todas ellas estén aprobadas.
Tanto el examen teórico, que se realizará al final de la asignatura, como el examen de recuperación constarán de 50 preguntas de tipo test (de 4 posibles respuestas, de las que solo habrá una verdadera, con un descuento de 0,25 para error) divididas en 2 partes de 35 (BLOQUES 1, 2 y 3) , 20 (BLOQUE 5 y 6) preguntas. Las tres partes es valoraran independientemente sobre 10 puntos y la nota final será el resultado de ponderar la nota de la primera parte con un valor del 50%, la nota de la segunda parte con un valor del 33% y los problemas de física con un valor del 17% de la nota final de la examen, siempre y cuando estén las tres aprobadas al menos con un 5, tal y como se ha explicado anteriormente.
