Aquesta assignatura pretén, per un costat, estudiar els diferents conceptes físics d’interès en ciències de la salut relacionant-los amb els diferents agents físics utilitzats en el món de la fisioteràpia. Per l’altre costat estudia el comportament biomecànic del cos humà així com la metodologia més emprada per a la seva valoració.
Recomanació del professor: Es recomana tenir coneixements previs de Física i haver superat les assignatures d’Estructura del cos Humà 1 i Funció del cos humà 1.
1.1. Que conegui els fonaments mecànics bàsics i la seva aplicació a l'anàlisi del moviment del cos humà i al dels instruments que aquest utilitza.
1.2. Que conegui els fonaments mecànics bàsics dels tractaments fisioterapeutes.
1.3. Que conegui el comportament mecànic del sistema múscul-esquelètic.
1.4. Que conegui com es comporten les estructures que formen l'aparell locomotor quan es veuen sotmeses a diferents tipus de càrregues.
1.5. Que conegui les característiques biomecàniques de les diferents articulacions del cos humà.
1.6. Que conegui les aplicacions de l'anàlisi del moviment.
2. Que el / la alumne / a conegui els elements clau que componen els coneixements de física que li permetin aprofundir en l'estudi de els fenòmens d'interès fisiològic i biomecànic.
2.1. Que conegui els principis i teories dels agents físics i les seves aplicacions en fisioteràpia.
2.2. Que conegui les bases físiques i instrumentals del diagnòstic i de la terapèutica.
Competències Específiques de la Titulació:

Per aprovar aquesta assignatura s’ha d’obtenir un 5 de nota global. Per poder fer la mitja ponderada de les notes obtingudes en els diferents blocs que imparteix cada professor és imprescindible que totes elles estiguin aprovades.
Tant l’examen teòric, que es realitzarà al final de l’assignatura, com l’examen de recuperació constaran de 50 preguntes de tipus test (de 4 possibles respostes, de les quals només hi haurà una verdadera, amb un descompte de 0,25 per error) dividides en 3 parts de 30 (Bloc 2 i 3) , 20 (Bloc 5 i 6) preguntes i 5 problemes de física. Les tres parts es valoraran independentment sobre 10 punts i la nota final serà el resultat de ponderar la nota de la primera part amb un valor del 50%, la nota de la segona part amb un valor del 33% i els problemes de física amb un valor del 17% de la nota final de l’examen, sempre i quan estiguin les tres aprovades al menys amb un 5, tal i com s’ha explicat anteriorment.
